biography

Tsen Ee Lin is a freelance photographer, writer and storyteller based in Santa Monica, California. Before moving to the States in February 2022, Ee Lin spent most of her life by the sandy beaches of Penang, Malaysia.

 

At 19, she became a photojournalist for Free Malaysia Today and documented local stories on a weekly-basis for the online news agency's Lifestyle section. Varying from old craftsmen, restaurants, non-profits and personality pieces, Ee Lin spoke to people from all walks of life and listening to their tales have deepened her love for storytelling.

Since coming to Los Angeles, Ee Lin has been working within the Camera and Art Department, and silently capturing still photos when she can.

She is passionate about telling stories that matter hopes to visually translate that onto a screen.
